ARMA 3 Game Review: ARMA 3 is an open world tactical shooter video game which was developed by Bohemia Interactive. It has been expected to be released in Q3 2013. The game's storyline takes place in the mid-2030s during the fictional Operation Magnitude, that is a military operation which was launched by NATO forces fighting in Europe against the Eastern armies led by a resurgent Iran.
ARMA 3 GamePlay: The game, ARMA 3 is set in the near-future during the mid-2030s, where the NATO forces deployed in the Greek islands of the Aegean Sea are trying to hold off a massive Iranian military offensive from the east. The player will take the role of a British Special Forces soldier, Captain Scott Miller during the singleplayer campaign. Initially, player must survive on their own after friendly forces are defeated in a failed NATO operation. The player will face everything from lone wolf infiltration mission to the commanding of large scale armored operations during the campaign. The player is able to choose different objectives & weaponry such as artillery, UAVs, & air support according to their play style. The game takes place on the Aegean islands of Altis & Stratis of Greece, in the Mediterranean Sea. It will feature photo-realistic terrain & water environments. Altis is the largest official terrain in the Arma series with ground area covering approximately 270 km². And the smaller island, Stratis, is expanded over an area of 20 km². Islands will feature over fifty villages with buildings that are both enterable & destroyable. There is an underwater environment for which vehiclles are provided. The player can also dive there. Some outstanding weapons & uniform customization are given. Lighting engine has been improved. An Alpha version of the game ARMA 3 was released on 5th of March, 2013, allowing the players to experience the game during development as well as assist in development by reporting bugs & giving feedback on their experience. The Beta has been slated for release in Q2 2013.
