Aliens Colonial Marines Game Description: Aliens Colonial Marines is a 1st person shooter video game. Gearbos Software as its developer while it was launched by Sega. The game is available on the PlayStation 3 & Xbox 360 video game consoles. It was made available for Microsoft Windows on 12th February, 2013. It is also set to be released on the Wii U in the year 2013. It is the third installment of the series that Sega has produced. The 1st was Aliens verses Predator in year 2010, and the 2nd was Aliens Infestation in 2011. The game is set in the universe of Aliens. The game takes place after the events of the 3rd film in the franchise.
Aliens Colonial Marines GamePlay: Aliens Colonial Marines is a shooting video game which puts the player in the role of a US Colonial Marine "Cpl. Christopher Winter". Player has access to Iconic Weapons from the movie including the flamethrower, shotgun, pistol, pulse rifle, smartgun, RPGs, & robotic sentry turrets. Players are able to use Welding Torches to seal doors & motion trackers if he wants to detect unseen enemies. It was announced initially that the game would involve squad based gameplay, which allows the player to issue orders to AI-controlled Marines using context sensitive commands. However, latet Gearbox revealed that this feature was dropped to make gameplay of the game more accessible. The game was originally planned to have no HUD to provide players with onscreen information. Types of gameplay have been classified into "Gauntlet Runs" and "Last Stand". Gauntlet requires the players to fight enemies as they travel from point A to B. Last Stand moments requires the players to defend a specific area by welding doors and setting-up automated sentry turrets. Players gain experience points by killing enemies and accomplishing certain objectives. Experience points allow the players to customize their character appearance, purchase or upgrade weapons, and unlock other skill sets.

According to GfK Chart Track, Aliens Colonial Marines was the biggest release of the year in the United Kingdom ahead of Dead Space3. Itheld the 2nd highest first week sales for an Alien game.The game received number one position on both the Xbox 360 and PS3 charts. The game debuted at number 6 on the all formats chart in its 1st month of release In the United States of America.
