SpiderMan 3 Game Review: SpiderMan 3 is an action game based on the SpiderMan 3 film. The video game has been released for the Xbox 360, PlayStation 2, Game Boy Advance, Microsoft Windows, Wii, PlayStation 3 PlayStationand Nintendo DS. The PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 versions were developed by Treyarch, while the Microsoft Windows version was developed by Beenox. Other versions were developed by Vicarious Visions. The plot of the game is expanded on the film by including additional characters & elements from the SpiderMan comics and the marvel universe. Depends on the platform, different villains from the comics have been featured, but all versions of the game feature the main villains of the film, those are New Goblin, Venom, & Sandman.
SpiderMan 3 Game Story: The SpiderMan swings through the air, and he spots a building on fire. He enters it & defuses a bomb which was planted there. He then finds New Goblin who is being flew around, & defeats him, knowing that it is Harry Osborn, his friend. SpiderMan retreats to save civilians who were trapped in a building. He is encountered by Sandman after rescuing them. Knowing that he can't defeat Sandman, he flees to his home where alien symbiote takes over his body. Peter then wakes up with the black suit, & uses it to his advantage. He finds that Senator has been kidnapped the Electro, and explosives have been planted throughout the city by Mad Bomber. After foiling their plans, & defeating them, he swings off to find the Sandman, & gives chase. He defeats Flint by opening a door which released a large amount of water onto him. SpiderMan thinks he killed Flint, tried to get the black suit off him, knowing that its influence has corrupted his mind. The black suit is then removed when sound waves drive it off, onto the Eddie Brock, who desired revenge on Peter and SpiderMan, & gives himself the name Venom. SpiderMan finds that the Sandman is still alive & well, & now has the powers of quicksand at his usage. Once again Peter defeated him. Venom comes and battles SpiderMan, but is defeated when he is dropped from the building. Spidey proceeds to call for medical attention & the symbiote has escaped into the night.
