Starbound Game Review: Starbound is an indie game being. It has been produced by Chuckle fish Ltd. The Starbound's gameplay appearance is a 2 dimensional randomly generated world the player has to explore in order to obtain new weapons, armor, & various miscellaneous items.
Starbound Game Synopsis: Starbound begins with the player fleeing his homeworld in a space shuttle, as it is destroyed by an unknown enemy. The escape pod shoots into space without direction becoming hopelessly lost in a sea of stars. The space shuttle touches down on a habitable planet & an adventure begins that will take the player hurtling across the universe. The game, Starbound contains both quests & story driven missions are buried inside its vast sandbox universe. The space shuttle acts as the player's vehicle while exploring the galaxy, which contains a teleport pad the player can use to teleport down to planets the shuttle is visiting.
Starbound GamePlay: In Starbound, the planets which the player explores are randomly generated. These have very unique features to them, each planet having a different theme. They have seeds, or coordinates, that are generated with the world. Once these coordinates are given out, they allow a player to visit another player's planet. Each planet is presented with different types of terrain, weather, procedurally generated foliage, day or night cycles, gravity levels, enemy appearance & behavior, materials, color of materials & foliage, & various backdrops.
Starbound Mechanics: Many gameplay elements such as items including guns, armor, & clothing, monsters, & planets, use procedural generation in order to provide a massive variety of content. Starbound will feature story-based missions, free world exploration, quests,enemies to fight, & the ability to interact with & terraform the environment. The player class is defined by items that the player is wearing. There is also a variety of space weaponry based off that of many sci-fi films.
