Sword Of The Stars GamePlay: Sword of the Stars is consists of turn based strategy. The gameplay resembles by real time battles. The game is consist of four races, each race has a unique method of strategic movement among other differentiators. The game also provides the player a high amount of randomness from technology availability to large scale independent threats to map features. Sword of the Stars is completely a multiplayer game. The multiplayer mode allows the players to leave and enter the game at-will. A detailed ship design system and the simulation of combat using a physics based Engine instead of probability calculation, it provides a large variety in combat engagement. The player has to choose one of the four distinct races in the game to form an interstellar empire and conquers the Galaxy.The player has to expand territory which can be done by colonizing new Star systems, exploit the Resources which are available to the colonies, design and build starship and improve empire's technology through research and strategy. Sword of the Stars is based on battles that are played out in real time. The battles are nearly similar to the Total War series of strategy games.There are six unique races that are provided in the latest version of the game. The player must choose any of them and each race is so unique These races consist of Insect like Hivers, Humans, Dolphin Like Liir, Marsupial Zuul, Reptilian Tarkas, and the Crow like Morrigi. Each of the six races has been supplied with a detailed back story and detailed History which adds flavour to the game. The main objective of Sword of the Stars was to create a relatively fast paced multiplayer video game. There are timers in the game, in place to limit the duration of the battles as well as duration of strategic turns. The game can be saved and later reloaded online or offline.
