The Elder Scrolls 5 : Skyrim – Dragonborn PC Game

The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim – Dragonborn Review: The Elder Scrolls V Skyrim Dragonborn 2013 is the 3rd add-on for the action packed RPG open world game The Elder Scrolls 5 Skyrim. It was created by Bethesda Game Studios while by Bethesda Softworks on the Xbox Live Marketplace in December 4, last year. The PC version was launched in February , 2013 while the PS3 version was launched in this year in Feburary. Dragonborn involves the gamer character coming in touch with the 1st Dragonborn, called Miraak. The game is based on the island of Solstheim, which was featured in the previous Bloodmoon expansion for The Elder Scrolls 3 Morrowind.

The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim – Dragonborn Game Story: The expansion pack is set on the fictional island of Solstheim, which is found off the northern coast of Morrowind. Solstheim was a place which once belonged to Skyrim until the High King awarded this island to Morrowind to serve as a place to seek refuge for the Dunmer fleeing Morrowind post the eruption of the Red Mountain. Geographically, half part of Solstheim is like Skyrim, covered with ice-caped glaciers and snowy peaks. While the other part is barren, and covered with ash because the Red Mountain catastrophe. Solstheim's residential and other structures also portray the diversity in cultures, with the Nordic section of the region inhabited by familiar, Skyrim architecture. The rest of Solstheim follows a Dunmer-style of architecture, it even has houses to live, made into giant mushrooms. The island's primary settlement is dubbed Raven Rock. Rock is ruled by House Redoran (which is a noble Dark Elf family that belongs to Morrowind). This rich island also houses the Skaal which is a tribe of wild Nords. Dragonborn's main story line begins after an attack on the gamer character from the Cultists of Miraak. Orders found on their dead bodies indentify them as to have been sent from the island Solstheim to Skyrim to assassinate the gamer character, who is considered a threat in wake of the return of the expected 1st Dragonborn(Dovahkiin), Miraak. The gamer character travels to Windhelm and gets on-board a boat for their voyage to Solstheim.

The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim – Dragonborn GamePlay:
Dragonborn 2013 is based on the gameplay features similar to Skyrim, where the gamers’ character has the liberty to explore Solstheim at theri own accord and pursuing missions at their own will. Latest weapons, amours, maps and enemies have been included for this expansion package. A new gameplay feature in Dragonborn 2013 is the capability to use and tame fire-breathing Dragons. The gamer character can use this new weapon to take out their enemies, but has no control over the flight, as the Dragon keeps on circling a particular point. Advance Dragon Shouts(also called Thu'um) have been brought forward, as exclusives to the Dragonborn expansion packs.

The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim – Dragonborn Games Ratings: Dragonborn 2013 game has received mostly positive reviews from critical sources. IGN appreciated the Apocrypha chapters, but criticised the storyline for being too short and out of place. GamesRadar praised the number of side-missions and the latest weapon and Dragon Shouts additions, but at the same time were critical of the Dragon riding feature as useless. EuroGamer awarded this 2013 pack a 9/10 rating, applauding the missions, fresh enemies and new locations to explore.
