Chicken Shoot 2 Edition 2012 Game Review: Chicken Shoot 2003/2007 is a shooting game created by Toontraxx. It was initially launched in 2003 for the Microsoft Windows and has since been released for the Wii and Nintendo DS gaming platforms.The original Chicken Shoot launched in 2003 as a Flash game that was moderately successful on the internet and was mostly well received by gamers on various Flash gaming websites. It was one of those 1st flash games to be playable on the Net Channel browser for the Wii, as it employed the Wii Remote to aim and take out chickens which flew all over the gaming screen. Many people believe that the original Chicken Shoot game assisted in popularizing the internet games that can be played on the Wii. This game is quite similar to Country Varmint Hunter.Chicken Shoot got unanimously negative responses. At present it has a score of twenty six percent on Game Rankings. GameSpot termed it as Duck Hunt for those who are idiots and added that the constant shooting had no objective. IGN also pointed out a major flaw which was that the same chickens were reused many times and that the minigame was mute and not continuous. This game got a zero and a -2/10 rating from the Run, the 2nd lowest rating ever awarded by the show. British magazine NGamer granted it a score of seven percent , the bottom score ever given by them for a Wii title. The Nintendo DS version of the game received a score of seventeen percent on Metacritic. Gamer's Temple asked to shoot this game rather than the chickens. Game Almighty gave a 4.0 score to Chicken Shoot 2 game.
