Fallen Enchantress Game Review: Elemental Fallen Enchantress 2012 is a Stardock fantasy strategy game, with FRPG elements. The game was launched in late 2012.After generally negative reviews for the Elemental War of Magic 2012, Stardock had decided to revive this game and make it available it for free to earlier buyers of the previous Elemental game. Elemental Fallen Enchantress was produced by Brad Wardell, and had Derek Paxton (Kael) was the primary designer. Initial reviews were encouraging. The very first players had very high expectations, so game received mixed reception, however with the increase in reviews, the opinions about the game also increased. This game is to be 2/3 part Civilization while 1/3 part Heroes of Might and Magic. We begin in Elemental, a place which was once very magical and used to house powerful civilizations. But now Elemental has been devastated by conflict, and has been ruined by the Titans, who are immortal creatures desirous to control Elemental. Elemental: Fallen Enchantress is the story of the survivors. The Kingdoms of the West are ruled by humans who value the strength of the individuals, whereas the Empires of the East who are run by other races who only value immense power and they strive to expand their strength. This game has a single gamer campaign, and a Sandbox based game-play feature. Other than the campaign, gamers achieve victory by defeating or uniting with other races.The player gets to controls a default or custom sovereign leadership of a faction and each has abilities that affect the overall game-play. The sovereign brings the races capital and may then be dispatched to scout the world or run the settlement. Various settlements can be created by pioneers, but city building locations may be far away. Research different technologies can be done by the Settlements, make military units or can establish town improvements or harvest resources they find. As settlements increase they can convert fortresses, towns or conclaves and gain expertise in military might, research or economy . Outposts can be established to harvest resources in sites without very far away from settlements. Recruited heroes or The Sovereign carry out different missions to get experience and Gildar (the currency depicted in the game), or other bounties. Heroes may also fight alongside military units, downing some of the many beasts Elemental in this process or interact with other A. I players. Military units may be customized by the players, enabling them to create new units according to their requirements.
