Family Guy Back To The Multiverse Game Review: Family Guy Back to the Multiverse 2012 is a third-person game which was released in November, 2012, in USA for PC,PS3 and XBox 360. The cooperative gameplay title is based on the animated T.V series which goes by the name of Family Guy, particularly the episode called as Road to the Multiverse is a continuation of the The episode named Big Bang Theory. This game also portrays the comeback of Bertram who happens to be Stewie's evil-minded half-brother. Bertram was once killed in the show. Back to the Multiverse 2012 is the only Family Guy console game up to date since Family Guy Video Game was released in the year 2006. In this new adventurous episode, a Bertram arrives from a parallel universe in which he was never killed by Stewie. One here he him creates a multi-universe traveling remote control device and goes through it to raise an army that will help him to destroy Stewie's entire life. When Brian and Brian decide to go and look for Bertram and execute him, Bertram then unleashes his force on the two of them. Some soldiers of this army are characters from the previous Family Guy episodes, including Long John Peter, Crippletron, Evil Stewie, Santa's work-overwhelmed elves and Ernie the Giant Chicken. Both Stewie and Brian chase Bertram through seven separate universes. Not all of these parallel universes are like the ones in the FG episode Road to the Multiverse. The universe Stewie and Brian firstly go into universe governed by the Greeks. The next universe is one that is run by the Amish, whom the evil Bertram gave speedy growth seeds to in exchange for the promise that they build him a dangerous weapon. In the 3rd universe handicapped people reign supreme. The 4th universe is an evil universe i.e where every person is evil. The next universe is dominated by pirates .The 6th universe is where Santa is not required as everyone purchases their christmas gifts from internet. Gamers assume the role Brian Griffin and Stewie Griffin in an adventure that stands them up against Bertram. Family Guy 2012 features co-operative and competitive multiplayer options both built around the game characters. Extra competitive levels, costumes, multiplayer maps and playable family guy persons are unlocked through gaming. The game got mostly negative reviews from critical sources. Andrew Reiner of GameInformer awarded this game a 4.5/10 score, commenting that half of the game has performed exceptionally well, while the other part is the total opposite. He also said that the gaming could spark any generic shooter, and doesn't seems like it have with this property. IGN awarded this game a bit higher ranking of 6.0/10, saying that there is a lot for enjoyment, but not of it will amaze you. It has a Metacritic rating of 39/100 for the Xbox 360 console and a 40/100 for the PS3.
