Metal Slug PC Collection 2012 PC Game Review: Metal Slug or ( Metaru Suraggu) is a run plus gun game created by Nazca Corporation while launched by S.N.K. It was actually launched in 1996 for the Neo-Geo M.V.S arcade gaming platform. This title is widely famous because of its sense of humor fast paced double player action and smooth hand-drawn animation. This is first game in the Metal Slug Series. Metal Slug was available on the Neo-Geo MVS arcade gaming system and A.E.S home entertainment system. Later on, a Neo Geo CD version of the game was created, portraying a Combat School mode that enabled the gamer to revisit previously played levels, but with latest mission objectives.In 2006, Metal Slug Anthology (or Metal Slug Complete) was launched for the PS2, PlayStationPortable and Wii. This compiled version includes the original Metal Slug, and all of its arcade sequels(like Metal Slug 2 and Metal Slug X)up to Metal Slug Six. Metal Slug 2013 is also available on GameTap, with a 2 player online functionality. It was was also launched on the Virtual Console of Wii in the year 2008. It was included as part of S.N.K Arcade Classics Volume#One which was released for the Wii, PS2 and PlayStationPortable in 2008. An official emulation version of MS game is also available on PlayStationPortable and PlayStation3, and in 2012 a wireless version was made available for Android and iOS platforms.The villainous General Morden and his rebel force has launched a coup on global governments, and all attempts by the armies of the various countries to curtail his increasing power end up in smoke. His most recent attack has given him access to a highly sophisticated form of all-terrain battle tank called "Metal Slug". In the last attempt to stop Morden, Marco Rossi and Tarma Roving from the Peregrine Falcon Squad are dispatched to locate and take out his powerbase, as well as recapture or destroy any Metal Slug tanks they spot, so as to keep this lethal technology out of Morden's evil hands. The gameplay here is quite basic, the gamers must fire continuously at a constant stream of enemies to achieve success in each stage. At the end of each level , the gamer must face a boss, who is mostly considerably larger and tougher than conventional enemies. On the way through each stage, the gamer can uncover several weapon upgrades and Metal Slug battle tanks. The tank is dubbed the Super Vehicle-001, which not only increases the player's offensive capabilities, but considerably adds to their defensive abilities. Along with shooting, the gamer can also perform melee attacks with a knife or through kicking. The player cannot not die easily by just coming into contact with enemies, and similarly, many of the enemy troops also have melee attacking ability.
