The Sims 3: University Life Game Review: The Sims 3: University Life is the 9th expansion pack for The Sims 3. EA Maxis/The Sims Studio is the developer of The Sims 3: University Life. Electronic Arts announced the expansion pack an hour before the live chat was broadcast on 8th of January, 2013, it was announced after rumors circulating through ratings and listings. A limited edition is also available which includes the Partaeus Maximus statue. The Sims 3 University Life was released on 5th of March, 2013 in North America, on 7th of March, 2013 in Europe, and on 8th March, 2013 in United Kingdom. The Sims 3: University's theme is College, similar to The Sims 2 University. Thus it gives the Sims a College Experience while at university. The game has brought some returning features from expansion packs of The Sims 2, as well as introduced some new features for The Sims 3. The game is playable on OS X and Microsoft Windows.
The Sims 3: University Life GamePlay: The Sims 3: University Life's gameplay is based on University Life. This University Life is college themed, similar to The Sims 2: University.Sims University functions similarly to the vacation world in World Adventures. Sims must be aged to young adult in order to attend university. When a non player mascot is near the Sims' lots, they take an aptitude test. The results depend on their skills, work experience, traits, and school grades. The results also show the total score of aptitude score, along with the credit award. The amount of scholarship provided to the Sim is also determined by the test. Enrolling in college is done on computer or phone. The player is able to select the Sims' major, that affects the length of Sims stay at university. When Sim gets in university, the work interface is replaced with the graduation tab. It keeps Sims' schedule and responsibilities records. In The Sims 3: University Life, any Sim with a high school Diploma enroll in college by choosing a major, the number of credits/term, & how many terms to take on. On arriving in the new college sub city, you are given a choice of residence, which includes the dorms, a frat house or sorority, or off campus housing. You will have to deal with roommates, & cohabitating with strangers has the same negatives and benefits as real life. They might become your worst enemies or your best friends. It is fun to have other Sims around that you are not tasked with dealing and controlling with unpredictable housemates might bring back fond memories of your college roommates.
