Command and Conquer Game Review: Command and Conquer is a strategy video game.It was developed by Westwood Studios. The game has been published by Virgin Interactive. The game was launched on 31sy of August, 1995. Command and Conquer was released in 1995 for MS-DOS, for Windows 95 in the year 1996, for Sony PlayStation and Sega saturn in 1996 and 1996 respectively. The game has been released as a free download by Electronic Arts in 2007.It features the history of modern day, telling the World War story that occur in between 2 globalized factions which includes the Global Defense Initiative of United Nations Organizations and Brotherhood of Nod.Command and Conquer achieved a critical and commercial success. Three million copies of the game had been sold out. It also won various awards. By the year 2009, thirty million copies of the game has been sold out.
Command and Conquer GamePlay: In Command and Conquer, the player is required to construct a base. He has to gather resources in order to fund production of technologies, Combat units and buildings. Combat Units are used to attack enemies and conquer an opponent's base.The game is based on two playable factions. One is Global Defense Initiative and the Brotherhood of Nod. Global Defense Initiative (GDI) units are more powerful and sturdier than Nod units. But GDI units are more expensive.NOD uses unconventional tactics and creates bigger armies, while GDI focuses on large scale strategic attacks.As the player costructs building, an additional structures and buildings become available which he can puchases easily. Command and Conquer features 2 single player campaigns, that is one for Nod and other for GDI factions.The main objectives of most of the missions is to take control on enemies' building or destroy it completely.Upto four players, can play this game at a single time.Updated graphics with soothing environment and 3D models has been added in the Nintendo 64 version.
