Dead Space 3 PC Game Review: Dead Space 2013 is a third-person shooter game created by Visceral Games while published by EA games. Announced at E3 2012 in June, 2012 and launched globally in 2013. Dead Space3 is the sequel to Dead Space Two and the 3rd main titlr in the Dead Space series.Primarily set in the cold planet of Tau Volantis, the player follows protagonists John Carver and Isaac Clarke as they try to finish the Necromorph threat.
Dead Space 3 Game Story: The game starts on Tau Volantis which is an ice-covered planet with an oddly shaped moon, here Sam Ackerman and Tim Kaufman( privates in the Sovereign Colonies Armed Forces or S.C.A.F )are attempting to gain access to a mysterious object termed as the "Codex" for Doctor Earl Serrano. After ecaping from Necromorphs and recovering the codex, Ackerman gets killed in an avalanche, forcing his parterner Kaufman to report alone to their commanding officer named General Mahad. Mahad, is also a survivor apart from Kaufman. He then liquidates Kaufman, deletes the data within Codex and finally kills himself. 200 years later, and 3 years since the Sprawl tragedy, Ellie Langford and Isaac Clarke and have become romantically involved with one another and then got separated. Taking Isaac from his home located on the moon,Sergeant John Carver along with Captain Robert Norton reveal that they are the last battalion of EarthGov, and they need Isaac's assistance in searching for Ellie and her lost squad. During their escape, the trio gets ambushed by Unitologist soldiers,while fleeing Unitologist soldier Jacob Danik initiates a Marker near the colony, causing another Necromorph spill in the colony. Norton, Carver and Isaac utilize this outbreak to their own advantage, managing to get on-board the USM Eudora.
Dead Space 3 GamePlay: Dead Space 2013 puts the player in the shoes of Isaac Clarke against the Necromorphs which are human corpses reanimated by signal through an alien artifact known as the Marker.In this DEAD SPACE game the RIG suit returns, employing holographic displays projected from the players suiting and weapons to display ammo and health status. In vacuum regions, a timer appears on the gamer's right shoulder, displaying the amount of oxygen that character has left with before they suffocate to death.In Dead Space 2013, Carver and Isaac can roll over and take cover in order to avoid attacks from their enemies. This latest capability was said to be vital by a Visceral Games developer, as it was felt dumb not to have this ability and that they have been working to make Private Isaac more responsive than in the last games, as they intended the horror to rise from the terrible things that take place within in the game; not from the terror that something is creeping slowly towards the player and they cannot shoot it as the game controls are like a piece of garbage.
Dead Space 3 PC Game Ratings: Dead Space 2013 got mainly positive reviews. Game Informer granted the game 9.75 out of 10 declaring that Dead Space 2013 converts the winning formula into a title not only fitting upto the name of the fantastic series, but also one of the excellent games of this genre. Polygon awarded this game 9.5 out of 10 commenting that Visceral has not only just saved itself from screwing up its game with co-op and it has made it feel at home and natural, and has done it without influencing the single-player gaming experience in any negative way. That alone is enough to make Dead Space 2013 an achievement for them. Machinima gave the game a rating of 9.5/10. Peter Moore(from Electronic Arts) wrote about the plot of this game on GamesIndustry. biz forum and said that its a conventional and shoddy website journalism recipe. VideoGamer.com conveyed information obtained from a confidential source regarding the cancellation of Dead Space 4 after lower than expected sales of Dead Space 2013, having fallen twenty six percent.
