Team Fortress 2 Game Review: Team Fortress 2 is a first person shooter and team based multiplayer video game which was successfully developed by well known Developers, the Valve Corporation. The game was First released as the part of game compilation The Orange Box on 10th of October, 2007 for Xbox 360 and Microsoft windows. The playStation version of the game was than released later, on 22 November, 2007. The game was again released as a standalone package on 9th April, 2008 for Microsoft Windows. Team Fortress 2 was distributed online through the Steam system. The retail distribution of the game was handled by Electronic Arts. The game become Free to play on June 23rd, 2011 by Micro-transactions. John Cook and Robin Walker originally created the Team Fortress Modification for Quake in 1996.The game was announced in the year 1998, first powered by Valve's GoldSrc engine. But as it passes through several design stages, the game changes. J.C Leyendecker, Norman Rockwell and Dean Cornwell visualized the cartoon characters of the game.
Team Fortress 2 GamePlay: The game includes two teams. Each team is consist of nine distinct characters. Different battles in variety of game modes are added with different environment or maps, often with a Factory Warehouse theme.The game focused around two teams that have been added. RED (Reliable Excavation & Demolition) team and the BLU (Builders League United) team are included in the game. These are based on combat principal objective. These teams are further classified into 9 classes. Player can choose any of them according to his choice.Each class has its unique strengths, weapons and weakness. The game includes 6 official maps, 44 extra maps, nine arena maps and king of the hill maps.The objective for both the teams in Capture the Flag maps, is to obtain a briefcase of intelligence from the enemy team's base and return it to their own base. In Control Point mode, player have to capture a particular point on the map, stay on the point without the presence of the opposing team. In Territorial control, each team have to seize the control of the capture point. Many other modes are added in the game and each have distinct missions for a player to complete.
