Blazing Angels Squadrons OF WWII Game Review: Blazing Angels Squadrons of WWII is a flight combat video game. It is available on the PC, Xbox, Xbox 360, Wii & PlayStation 3 & on Wii. It has been developed by Ubisoft Romania during the 2nd fiscal quarter of the year 2006 for both the European and North American regions. The game features forty six different World War 2 fighter planes & allows the players to take part in several World War 2 events as a fictional squadron. Online support allows sixteen players to take part in head to head & co-operative battles. The game was released on 24th of March, 2006 in the United States of America and on 31st of March, 2006 in Europe. On 3rd of August, 2006, Ubisoft announced that Blazing Angels Squadrons of WWII would also be released for the Wii as a launch title. However, it was postponed & didn't make the Wii launch. It has been released Wii version on 20th of March, 2007. The PlayStation 3 version features all new missions, a sixteen players online mode & support for PlayStation 3's controller motion sensing functions. The arcade version of the game was developed by Global VR & released in the year 2008, based upon the PC version of the game.
Blazing Angels Squadrons OF WWII Game Story: The Blazing Angels Squadrons of WWII's story varies slightly from console to console. The story follows the player's squadron, nicknamed the Angels of Dunkirk, as player go through several World War 2 battles & missions. Battles include the Liberation of Paris, the Battle of Britain, the Battle of Berlin, the Battle of Midway, and the D-Day. However, in the PlayStation 3 and Wii releases, the story was slightly changed by adding more depth to the game characters. Scenes has been narrated by the main character were added in teh game before the level to explain the battle. The player can talk during the actual game, conversing with the wingmen and shouting commands. Other changes included Tom being Joe's brother-in-law in place of a random pilot the player saves from a German fighter squadron & Joe getting shot down on D-Day.
