Grim Fandango Game Review: Grim Fandingo is an adventure dark comedy neo-noir game. It was successfully released by LucasArts. The game was released for Microsoft Windows in the year 1998. Grim Fandingo is written by Tim Schafer. It is the first adventure game that LucasArts launched and the first game in which 3D computer Graphics overlaid on pre-rendered, and static background. The game had been received positive reviews from the game players which praises its artistic designs and of course the entire game.Grim Fandingo includes The Maltese Falcon, Casablanca and On the Waterfront which creates a Land of the Dead. Departed souls are represented in the game like calaca figures. The player must reach to his final destination before Calaca reaches.
Grim Fandango GamePlay: Grim Fandingo requires the player to control Manuel "Manny: skull as he follow "Meche" Colomar (Mercedes) in the underworld. The main characters and objects are animated in 3D as GrimE engine has used in the game. The player has to control Manny's actions and movements. Manny has to collect all the objects that can be used with parts of the scenery, other collectible objects or with the people in the Land of the Dead to solve the puzzles or quests in order to progress the game. The player is informed of objects or persons in the game by the turning Manny's head towards them as he walks by. Manny collects the items and puts in his coat jacket.
Grim Fandango Game Ending: Grim Fandingo received several awards after its release in the year 1998. The game won the "Computer Adventure Game of the Year" by Academy of Interactive Arts & Sciences in 1999.Only 95000 copies from the time of its release till the year 2003 were sold out in North America and only between 100,000 and 500,000 units of the game were sold worldwide. The game was commonly considered as a commercial failure.
