Hitman 2: Silent Assassin Game Review: Hitman 2: Silent Assassin is an action and adventure stealth game. The game was developed by IO Interactive and Edios Interactive published it. The game was released for the Xbox game console on 30th of September, 2002. Hitman 2: Silent Assassin is the 2nd installment in the Hitman series & the sequel to Hitman: Codename 47. On October 1st, 2002 Microsoft Windows & PlayStation 2 versions of the game were released. A GameCube version was later released on 19th of June, 2003. Hitman 2: Silent Assassin was re-released for Windows via Steam online distribution service. A commercial success, Hitman 2: Silent Assassin has sold more than 3.7 million copies as of 23rd April, 2009 & is the best selling Hitman game to date.
  
Hitman 2: Silent Assassin GamePlay: The player assumes the role of Agent 47, who has knocked out an enemy guard & is now wearing the guard's clothes. Hitman 2 features mission based gameplay. The main character, Aget 47, on each level is given a set of objectives to complete. In the game, most levels require the assassination of one or more people. Though, how missions are completed is up to the player, & there are almost always a variety of ways to complete the quests. Instead of simply running & gunning through the mission, one can set various traps, like poisoning a drink to terminate the target in silence. In game, some missions have assassination possibilities unique to the level. Agent 47 can find disguises or remove them from an incapacitated person to blend in with the surroundings & access restricted areas. This gameplay in with the Suspicion system, a bar can be seen beside the health meter on the HUD represents how much suspicion Agent 47 garners. In Hitman 2: Silent Assassin, there are multiple ways to blend in more effectively. In the game, the player can make sure to carry an AK-47 assault rifle while disguised as a Russian soldier. In the game, despite the usage of a uniform, being nearer to fellow guards simply increase the suspicion as they would have an opportunity to more closely examine Agent 47. Running, climbing & being in restricted places are other ways to garner concern.
