Resident Evil 6 Game Review: Resident Evil 6 is also known as Biohazard 6. It is an action and adventure 3rd person shooter video game in the series of Resident Evil. Capcom developed and published the game. Capcom defines the genre of game as Dramatic Horror. However reviewers disagree whether this installment belongs in survival horror genre. It has been released on 2nd of October, 2012 for the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 platforms. The Microsoft Windows version was released on 22nd of March, 2013.The story is told from the perspectives of Chris Redfield, who is a former member and founder of the BSAA traumatized by a failed operation, a Raccoon City survivor;Leon S. Kennedy, and Jake Muller who is an agent for the U.S. government, illegitimate son of Albert Wesker & associate of Sherry Birkin, and Ada Wong who is a freelance agent framed for the bio terrorist attacks by Neo-Umbrella. They should confront the force behind a massive bio-terrorist attack with the newly developed C-virus in cities across the world. Concept development began as 2009, with full development beginning the following year under "Hiroyuki Kobayashi", who produced Resident Evil 4, & eventually grew to have the largest staff so far to work on a Resident Evil game. The game faced both negative reaction to the control problems with the demo & generally mixed review for the drastic shift in the gameplay focus for the game, being a point of both criticism and praise for different review outlets.
Resident Evil 6 GamePlay: A player assumes the role of an enemy such as a J'avo armed with a machete while engaging another player named "Sherry Birkin". Resident Evil 6 allows the players to select between 3 scenarios with connected storylines, each has their own intentionally different design and each follows one of 3 main protagonists: Leon S. Kennedy, Chris Redfield & Jake Muller. The player characters from each scenario have their own partners, controlled by either the computer AI or another human player through local or online multiplayer. When single player mode is selected, the player can allow another player to join in online & inventories are now kept separate from each other. A 4th scenario is unlocked after the player has finished the other 3 scenarios, in which the player controls Ada Wong without a partner. The game also follows the Mercenaries mode, where player fights hordes of enemies, & the "Agent Hunt" mode allows the players to take control of random enemies in other people's games. Players are able to pick up items rapidly, and change weapons in real time. Players can also move while aiming their firearms. A new feature, in the form of tablets came, allowing the players to recover their health at the push of a button. More tablets are produced by locating herbs.
