The game has been released for Microsoft Windows and Mac OS X. It has released worldwide on the July 27, 2010.StarCraft II: Wings of Liberty is divided into 3 installments. The base game is entitled as "Wings of Liberty", that is an expansion pack Heart of the swarm and Legacy of the Void.The game story revolves around the three species consist of the Terrans (human exiles from the Earth) , the Zerg (a super specie of assimilated life forms) and the Protoss ( having vast mental powers). StarCraft II: Wings of Liberty includes new as well as returning characters and locations from the original game. The game was highly praised for its engaging game play as well as or the new features and improved story. StarCraft II: Wings of Liberty was the most selling real time strategy game of all time after it release. Over 3 million copies of the game had sold worldwide in the first month of its release.
StarCraft II Wings of Liberty GamePlay: StarCraft II: Wings of Liberty features the return of 3 species. In the Terran Campaign, Jim Raynor a bitter and hard drinking is the central character. The campaign is non linear as compared to the previous versions. Jim Raynor takes jobs to earn money and from this money he buys additional units and upgrades. Each campaign of the game functions differently. In short, Jim Raynor performs missions for money in the Terran campaign. In the Zerg Campaign, the player is required to level up the Queen of blades through out the mission. In the Protoss campaign, Zeratul campaign character has to employ diplomacy between Protoss tribes in order to acquire units and technologies.
